This year we welcomed Isabelle Cole to Scaler. With nearly a decade of experience across sustainability and fintech - spanning Zurich to San Francisco - she knows how to turn complex challenges into actionable solutions. A marathon runner and global thinker, Isabelle brings the same focus and endurance to helping clients achieve their sustainability goals.

Introducing Isabelle

Isabelle began her career in Zurich, working in sustainability data analysis for an asset management firm before spending eight years in San Francisco, where she held Vice President roles at Silicon Valley Bank and J.P. Morgan, supporting startups and shaping the future of innovation, payments, and finance.

Her move to Scaler reflects both her passion for purpose-driven technology and Scaler’s global ambition. Starting as a Senior Account Operations Manager, she quickly advanced to Client Solutions Lead, translating complex client needs into scalable, high-impact solutions that drive measurable sustainability outcomes.

My Work 

• What's your role at Scaler, and what does a typical day look like for you?

At Scaler, I connect with prospective clients and guide them toward solutions that help advance their sustainability goals. My days are a mix of strategic problem solving, shaping tailored proposals, and collaborating with our internal teams to make every client experience seamless and high-impact. I also represent Scaler at industry events, where I love sharing how our platform turns complex data into clarity and action.

Outside of work, I enjoy running - it helps me reset and stay focused. I’ve completed three marathons, and the experience has taught me a lot about perseverance and pacing for the long run.

• What's the most rewarding part of working at Scaler, and what makes Scaler’s approach stand out in the industry?

The most rewarding part of Scaler is working with colleagues and clients who share the ambition to make a positive impact. We often tackle complex data challenges, but our problem-solving mindset and “can-do” culture make even the toughest projects energizing. Scaler’s strength lies in our adaptability and action-oriented culture - we turn complexity into clarity, and insight into impact. By listening closely to clients and simplifying even the most complex use cases, we build quickly, stay ahead, and deliver real results.

My Perspective

What excites me about sustainability tech is how the growing availability of more real-time data is giving people the ability to turn insights into real action, and even design with sustainability in mind from the start. Scaler plays a key role in that journey, helping clients measure their progress on reducing energy use, track against net-zero goals, and collaborate across stakeholder groups to enhance the effectiveness of reporting. I’m energized by being part of a global team that’s focused on expanding that impact every day.
